Short Term Software Engineering Track

Step 1: Writing a winning Resume

Your resume showcases an extensive coding experience and competence as a software engineer. However, it lacks impact and technical details that would impress recruiters. Given that recruiters spend only 7 seconds on each resume and there are thousands of applicants, it is crucial to make your resume stand out. We will leverage my industry expertise to rewrite his resume from scratch, significantly increasing his chances of getting an interview.

Step 2: Reviewing the Application Process & Generating a List of Companies

To maximize your chances of getting interviews, we will explore different groups of companies that he may have overlooked. I will provide tools to streamline the application process, enabling him to apply to most applications in under 30 seconds. Additionally, I will guide him on avoiding red flags that could hinder his application, all while considering his busy schedule.

Step 3: Technical Interview Prep - Behavioral Interview

While this interview is typically non-technical, it is crucial to excel in order to progress to the next step. Step 4: Technical Interview Prep - Phone Screen + Behavioral Mock

We will review common data structures such as arrays, stacks, queues, linked lists, trees, graphs, and hash tables. I will personally conduct mock interviews, providing detailed analysis of what I, as an interviewer, look for. Drawing from my 5 years of experience interviewing for top companies, I can offer valuable insights that will significantly improve your interview performance. I will also share a list of practice questions and effective methods to remember complex algorithms and data structures.

Step 5: System Design Interview Mock

I will explain best practices for system design interviews, covering requirements analysis, high-level architecture, and object-oriented design. Through an example, I will clarify what interviewers typically seek during this round. It is crucial to identify the interviewer's expectations from the outset in order to succeed in this subjective interview format.

Step 6: Preparing for Real Interviews

As real interviews approach, I will work closely with you to ensure he is mentally and technically prepared for each round. This includes reviewing the company's values, sharing tips and tricks specific to the company, and practicing targeted questions.

Step 7: Negotiation and Offer Signing

We will focus on negotiating the highest possible offer for you. Additionally, we will negotiate H-1B sponsorship to secure his long-term stay and discuss the start date and any additional benefits.
